Registered Nurses
As the Baby Boomer sector nears retirement, more and more aged people will need caregivers to assist them in their daily needs. They will also require much medical attention, as illnesses associated with old age begin to take their toll on this big chunk of the population. There will also be a need to take care of Generation Y, which is still growing in numbers. Of course, there is also the fact that no one is exempted from occasional sickness or ill health.

Registered Nurses
All these mean that no matter what happens to the economy, there will always be a need for health care professionals. An estimated 50,000 job opportunities for registered nurses in the United States are projected, with an average salary of $57,000 per year. These can be in hospitals, clinics, schools, homes for the aged and in private homes.
