Dental Hygienist
A two-year certificate or Associate’s Degree in dental hygiene will require subjects in oral anatomy, preventive dentistry, pharmacology, dental radiology and oral histology, among others. With this education and training, you can get $30 to $40 per hour working for a dentist or in your own clinic.

Dental radiologist
You will usually be responsible for evaluating a patient’s dental health and creating a treatment plan suited to his or her oral needs and conditions. However, you must take note that most states allow only the dentist to make a diagnosis. You may also need a license before you can perform a task like administering anaesthesia. Surveys estimate job openings for dental hygienists to increase by 30% by the year 2016.
